I’ve been designing for the last couple of years, mostly for friends and occasional customers. I thought it was just a hobby but, by and by, I felt I needed to reach a wider audience and share my work.

I’m using and liking your Ecologist theme. I want to change the header – but for some reason there is no header image coded into the theme I have.
And heading 1 seems to be heading 2 somehow:
.pt h2 a, .pt h1 a{color:#ff0000;font-size:18px;font-family:’Times New Roman’;font-style:italic;}
I don’t want to reload the theme again because I have made too many modifications – How can I replace what is supposed to be Header 1 with an image? (My image has text in it so I wouldn’t need the existing heading.

Thanks, Alin, it took me a long time to get here. But I suspect you haven’t seen too many blogs lately.
Actually, I saw too many as I am quite into WordPress for a number of years. I’m not a coder/designer thou and not deeply in love but anyway… 8->).
It happens that I still believe in that ancient saying: “do more with less”; I wouldn’t call meself a “minimalistique” but I kinda tend to prefer this design direction rather than any other.
All in all, I landed on your blog and I said: WOW! That’s so close to how I would picture me blog in me dreams…

@Alin: under these circumstances, I only can say that I’m flattered.
One of the best things about minimalism is that it’s timeless; maybe it’s because it ain’t a trend, but a way of seeing things.
@Neo Law: I’m glad to hear that you’ve been enjoying Doc.
Unfortunately, the theme I’m using is extensively hardcoded, so it would be useless on another website. But, given the interest in this design, I’ll develop a theme based on this one and share it with the community; hopefully it will be ready in about a week (and I’ll let you know when it’s done).
